Mountlake Terrace boasts a friendly and active community with a variety of volunteer organizations and recreational opportunities within the City’s four square mile area. Residents and visitors alike frequent the Recreation Pavilion and its state of the art indoor swimming pool, the library and the movie theatre at Gateway Plaza. They also go outside to enjoy the city's impressive 262 acres of parks, trails and open space as well as Lake Ballinger and its neighboring golf course.
