Must be Certified by WSCJTC, 21 years of age, U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident, able to read and speak English, no convictions for felony offense, high school diploma or GED, valid WA license, driving record acceptable to the city insurance carrier.

Community Information

Located in North Central Washington on the Columbia River, Grand Coulee is home to the Grand Coulee Dam - the largest hydro-power generating facility in the U.S., which also provides water for the Columbia Basin Project. The dam is the largest employer in the area. Best known for the dam and the surrounding water attractions, outdoor recreation is a large part of the community. Boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, and other activities are enjoyed throughout the year.

Comprised of 8 full time officers, including the Chief of Police. Rotating shifts. Under contract with the Bureau of Reclamation to provide law enforcement services at Grand Coulee Dam. Coverage in Electric City is also by contract.
