Department Information

The City of DuPont Police Department serves a population of approximately 9,000 citizens in south Pierce County along the I-5 corridor. Our staff of responds to a variety of calls for service in a rapidly growing planned community that is comprised of a variety of residential, commercial and industrial entities. The department is comprised of 1 Chief, 2 Sergeants, 6 Officers and a detective who provide 24 hr / 7 day a week service to our citizens. As a full service agency, we ensure that all officers receive proper additional training, equipment and leadership to maintain the highest level of competency and quality of service in the law enforcement community.
