The City of Connell is located in Franklin County approx 30 miles north of the Tri Cities (Pasco, Kennewick and Richland).  We are the second largest City in the County.  We are home to, currently, the largest State Correctional Facility, Coyote Ridge Corrections Center.  We have a very strong agricultural and industrial base.  Our largest employers are Lamb Weston inc., the Department of Corrections, and the North Franklin School district.

The Connell Police Department currently consist of 7 full-time commissioned officers, 2 reserve officers and a full time police clerk.  Officers work 12 hour rotating shifts.  The current City of Connell policy allows for officers to take patrol cars home.
