The Royal City Police Department is staffed by four officers consisting of a Chief, two patrol officers, and a school resource officer. Our goal is to keep Royal City a safe and quiet little town in which to work, live and raise families.

Salary Information

Entry Level is $56,160 annually and increases to $57,408 annually after completion of the basic law enforcement academy. With a 5 step pay scale increase, at the top tier of 73 months, the annual salary is $74,880 annually. Once hired, you will also be accruing annual leave and sick leave.
