Important Information

A PST Written test AND Physical Agility Test MUST be taken and passed before consideration. Application, resume, and cover letter MUST be uploaded to PST immediately once all testing is complete. It is required that you complete a PST Personal History Statement at the same time of application submittal. Failure to do so within 48 hours after testing, will result in disqualification. DO NOT submit APSC F3 through PST.

The City of North Pole is looking for qualified applicants to fill Police Officer openings. North Pole is located in Interior Alaska approximately 15 miles south-east of Fairbanks. North Pole is widely known for its Christmas themed decorations and the world-renowned Santa Claus House.

Police Officer Recruit (entry level/probationary year)

  • Salary Range: $30.00 hour – $30.90 hour

Police Officer(completed probation)

  • Salary Range: $32.00 hour/Step 3 – $48.46 hour/Step 20

Police Officer Lateral

  • Salary Range: $33.95 hour/Step 5 – $48.46 hour/Step 20
