$10,000 Hiring Bonus 

Expedited backgrounds. Provisional appointments.


  • $77,064 to $102,798
  • 6% Corporal pay
  • 3% Range master, PTO, detective, firearms instructor 
  • Shift differential - 1.5% swings and 2% graves
  • Monthly education pay - $300 graduate degree, $200 bachelor's degree, $100 associates degree (college degree is not required)
  • 2 floating holidays in addition to ten paid holidays
  • Prior service credit for vacation accrual purposes - laterals begin earning vacation based on years of prior service

Pay and Benefits Are Based on Our Collective Bargaining Agreement.


Fixed 4/10 work schedule: Sun-Weds or Weds-Sat.

The City of Brier is a wonderful community located just 15 miles North of Downtown Seattle, located in Snohomish County. The City of Brier is approximately 2.1 square miles in size, contains 27 miles of streets & roads and has approximately 7,000 residents. This beautiful community also consists of modern single-family homes and has vast open spaces, scenic parks and wildlife.

The city is governed by a Mayor/City Council form of government. The city is mostly residential and still maintains some "rural" feeling, but is close to I-5 and I-405.
