Personal History Statement

The Personal History Statement is designed to assist public safety agencies in the background investigations of candidates.  Many of the agencies we test for require the applicant to complete the PHS within one week of testing.

The PHS is one of the most important, if not the most important document you will complete as a public safety applicant.  It is critical that you are completely truthful and thorough as you complete the PHS.  Many candidates are disqualified for untruthfulness, inaccuracies or omissions in their PHS.

It is vital that you also keep your PHS information up to date as changes occur. Please note that all versions of your PHS that are uploaded are saved and viewable by you and the agencies you test for. Your PHS is saved on the PST website for 24 months. After 24 months your PHS will be deleted from the PST website.
