The department serves the City of Moses Lake providing an “all hazards” response approach, including fire, rescue, hazardous materials, technical rescue, and transport advanced life support ambulance service.
The department operates from two stations, and is a fully career agency. Our current authorized staffing levels are 30 operations division members, and 6 administrative / prevention positions. Our 2018 call volume is on track to peak at just under 4,000 calls for service.
