Department Information

Chelan County Sheriff's Office is currently budgeted for 73 employees providing service to county areas, contractually to several small communities. Mission statement: to work in partnership with the community to enhance the quality of life for the people of Chelan County through efficient and effective service by prevention, response, intervention and enforcement. Chelan County is working 12 hour shifts and has an 18 month probationary period for Entry Level Deputies and a 12 month probationary period for Lateral Deputies.
