Tenino “Stone City” is located in southeast Thurston County and is where the state received it’s sandstone to build a number capitol buildings in the state capitol.

Our department is comprised of three commissioned patrol officers, non-commissioned police clerk and one Police Chief. We work closely with the Thurston County Sheriff’s department and Washington State Patrol to provide services to our community.

Current Hiring Status

The eligibility list is a continuous listing and maintained as scores are received from PST with oral board interviews conducted on an as-needed basis.
