Department Information

The Port Angeles Fire Department is a professional, progressive and innovative public safety agency working to become an integral part of the lives of the citizens it serves. Its fundamental mission is to improve the quality of life for the citizens and visitors of the City while providing a broad range of services designed to save life and property. The Port Angeles Fire Department is responsible for emergency response in the areas of emergency medical, fire suppression, fire prevention, hazardous materials, rescue, and disaster management and planning. In 2016, staff responded to over 4,800 emergency calls for service. Port Angeles Fire Department is a combination department with 25 career and 24 volunteer members. The Department currently has one vacant FF/EMT position and anticipates adding additional FF/EMT staff in 2017.

$53,659 to $80,913 per year
