Tigard Police Department

  • The City of Tigard will initially accept any PST-administered physical ability test (Washington law enforcement or Idaho/Alaska Law Enforcement) -OR- proof of successfully completing an ORPAT within the prior 6 months.  Applicants who have not passed the ORPAT within the previous six months will be required to pass the ORPAT prior to appointment.  The City of Tigard will provide instructions on how to provide proof of a passing ORPAT after you complete your PST testing. Applicants with passing PST-administered physical ability test scores, or passing ORPAT scores, will be invited by the City to submit a supplemental application as vacancies occur.
