Thurston County Sheriff's Office anticipates hiring a number of positions throughout 2023. Eligibility lists of qualified candidates are maintained to fill openings as they become available.

Prior Experience Requirement Yes, must have at least 12-months continuous work experience and successfully completed any probationary period as a full-time, paid, Corrections Deputy with general corrections experience.
Other Have successfully completed the testing process and been hired by another jurisdiction from a civil service commission certified eligibility list or other like process.
