The City of Bothell has a growing population of approximately 44,000 residents and encompasses an area of over 12 square miles. The City is just 11 miles north of Seattle and is located at the northern tip of Lake Washington. Centrally located in the Puget Sound Region, Bothell is within easy access to Seattle, Bellevue and Everett. The City of Bothell Police Department's mission is to protect life and property through professional service and a proactive partnership with our community. The Bothell Police Department has 65 commissioned officers and 29 civilian employees. The Department is made up of four major divisions, Operations, Special Operations, Investigations and Support Services. Each division is structured with different units providing many specialty services.
