PST Partner Agency since October 19, 2011

Vacancies: 4-8

Important Information

King County Medic One requires 3 years of pre-hospital EMS experience by the cut off date for application submission and testing. As an example for our upcoming testing, a candidate must have 3 years of experience completed by February 16, 2024. One year of this experience must be with the same agency. EMS experience must be in the field and cannot use clinic or hospital experience. While helpful, we want to ensure candidates have worked or volunteered in a capacity most similar to the position.

You CANNOT count the same month twice between two agencies. Example: You work as an EMT for an ambulance company January to June while also volunteering as an EMT in a Fire District over the same time. This counts as six months experience, not 12 months.
